Bad expirience (first time drinking)

I have been drunk for the first time today and I am wondering why it wasnt a good expirience for me? I am not doing well mentaly right now and I thought I could drink the pain away or something on this party. But I was just really dizzy and still unhappy. It wasnt a fun expirience and I dont have any drive to drink again.

Is this normal for a first time or why wasnt I happy on alc?
