Southern Comfort – Expiry date?

I have an unopened bottle of Southern Comfort that my now passed away father gave me.

It’s always been stored in a closet and never has been opened.

I would say it’s probably…. ~7 years old? Does this thing have an expiration date? Is it safe to consume?
