Drinks with root beer?

I’m looking for liquors to mix with off the shelf root beer because I’m not a huge cola fan so I don’t want to make rum and coke.

I feel like rum and root beet wouldn’t work, and I was looking into irish cream to mix with root beer to get a root beer float vibe. Anyone have any advice?

Right now the only alcohols I have are a bottle of original monkey shoulder, kraken spiced dark rum, and a few shooters of fireball.
