Question about med interactions

Hi, so I take alprazolam .25 or .5 mg sometimes for anxiety, mostly when I feel like I could have a panic attack. I took .25 at around noon, however my friend is having her birthday party tonight. Would it be safe to have a few drinks with her? It will have been about 7 hours.
