Review: NON7 Stewed Cherry & Coffee Non-Alcoholic Cocktail

This large-format non-alcoholic cocktail is the seventh in NON’s zero-alcohol lineup, featuring a significant ingredient list built around sour cherries, cold brew coffee, garam masala, allspice, nutmeg, pink peppercorn, Murray River salt, and verjus. The sour cherries do most of the heavy lifting here, the fizzy underbelly giving the fruit something of a kombucha character at the start. It may seem simple, but the variety of spices are highly impactful on the nose, offering a combination of Indian and Jamaican influence that becomes increasingly engaging the more you sip on it. The only mystery here is the cold brew coffee, which never really makes much of an entrance. I’m fine with that.
