What Cheap Stouts To Look For?
Hey y’all.
I took another trip to the grocery store and I noticed that they’ve added some cheap Stouts (the 7-ish% ABV ones). I don’t remember the brands and I didn’t think about taking pictures of the aisle. This store is in the Oregon, USA area.
I am intrigued by the sight of this, but this time around I went with Blue Moon, it’s a safe option for me because the flavors are more bright but not offensive to me, I’m bad at explaining it in detail, I just like it a lot. If it helps, I love it when beers have a bright but pleasant flavor profile OR a nice and deep wheat flavor. The only stouts I’ve had are the Fort George Cavatica Stout, and the Rhino Bones Alesong Imperial Milk Stout (some limited edition thing… So good!). I like those Stouts for the almost chocolatey-coffee taste. A sweeter bitterness if any. This store I go to doesn’t have Guinness, I plan on giving that a try the next time I go to the bar.
Please suggest what you personally like to buy from USA grocery stores when it comes to cheap stout beers.
