No effect?

I just turned 21 and I drank for the first time last night, everyone told me to be careful so I was at first. I started with a screwdriver (vodka orange juice) and then a pineapple seltzer, I downed the entire seltzer because the screwdriver didn’t do anything to me. The seltzer then also did nothing. So I drank something my partner suggested called snowshoes I can’t remember what it was but it was a 50/50 shot with 2 strong alcohols, still by the end of the night I didn’t feel any different at all. I hit a joint and that got me high as usual. But the alcohol did nothing? I tried to look up why that would be and it just says I’ve built up a tolerance, but I haven’t cause I’ve never drank before so wtf?
