Husband 64M obnoxious about drinking

My husband ‘64M’ divorced his first wife years ago because she was alcoholic and claims it destroyed their marriage. He doesn’t go out often and has a beer here and there at home. However, when does go out he obnoxiously tries to be life of the party, drinking a lot, peer pressuring others to drink. Also, the only time he posts on social media when he’s at a brewery or having a drink somewhere because that’s “cool”. Nothing else is. If alcohol destroyed his first marriage why act like this?
