Wine Hates Me, Anyone Else?
Curious, crowdsourcing… WINE. Talk to me. I’m just about 40, and fairly health conscious. Active, etc. I have gone through phases where I’ve stopped drinking and feel great, but than I want to add back in a nightly drink. Whenever I start reaching for a glass of wine after dinner, whether its white or red, it WRECKS me. The next day is a half wash of a day. Head fog, occasionally a migraine trigger, crappy sleep, xyz. But a clean margarita w/ a good clear tequila? If I’m not overindulging, I am FINE. I dont notice the same effects. Has anyone else found this to be true for them, or have reasoning as to why it may be? It is sure sad as I truly enjoy a glass of wine paired with certain things, but it doesn’t seem worth it anymore.
