Can I bring alcohol back to Canada if I do a day trip to buffalo (less than 24 hours)?

I’m planning on doing a day trip to buffalo, I live in Toronto, Canada. Am I able to buy alcohol in buffalo and bring it back to Canada if I’m there for less than 24 hours? If so how much would the duties be and how much alcohol can I bring back?
