Type of drinking in the USA and Europe.

Hello, I’m 22 years old. I’m from Belarus. When it comes to alcohol, I like pure vodka. For example, once a month or once every 6-7 weeks, my friends and I get together to have a party and drink shots of vodka. I lived in Poland and Serbia and in eastern Europe vodka and spirits are popular. But as I understand it, this is not the case in Western Europe and the USA? Don’t you like vodka or tequila? In general, it seems that strong drinks greatly demonize the doctor. They say that it is better to drink light drinks often, for example 4-5 times a week, than to drink shots of strong alcohol, but rarely. Do you agree with this? My type of drinking is rare but 5-6 shots of strong alcohol is not common in Europe and the USA? I want young people my age to also answer my questions.
