How exactly is $15-$20 for a cocktail justifiable?
I mean let’s really think about it. They put what, a shot of alcohol in there? I understand they add extra things like juices in there, maybe a piece of fruit or something but is that really justifiable? Aside from the shot, the rest of the things cost like $2-$3 max. The majority of the cocktail is just a bunch of various other things like you’re not even paying for the alcohol at that point. Beers are pricey as a mf too considering a lot of places want $7-$8 for one beer, that’s near half the cost of a regular case of beer somewhere.
Yeah a lot of places are different but looking online these prices seem to be about the standard. I just don’t understand it. Why must these businesses capitalize soo much on people? Why do soo many people try to justify these things? A simple 1-2 minute cocktail could cost more than an ENTREE. That’s honestly ridiculous. I just don’t understand it. Could someone help me understand this logic?
