Tips or advice on a bottle to gift my newly born godson when he turns 18?

Hi,

I recently became a god father (He was actually born in 2021) and I initially thought it would be a cool idea to buy a bottle of wine or something from his birth year that could age with him, which I could then surprise him with when he turns 18 or 21.

I don’t really know where to begin or what to get, or even if wine or whiskey is “aged” in a bottle as opposed to a barrel or something.

I’m partial to a bottle of whiskey to be honest but open to hear what anyone thinks. Would obviously be best with the year on the label.

Super open to specific bottles or brands to buy.
