i already feel the hangover how can i prevent this?

just went out tonight even tho i was already hungover from the night before but my sister convinced me to go out but i’ve been drinking lots of water throughout my drinks yet i still get TERRIBLE hangovers and i can already feel it my neck/head hurt so bad already i took some ibuprofen and some liquid iv but what else can i do to prevent this other than what ppl what to say is just not drink lmfao
