Alcohol effects question

Just a strange experience last weekend. I was a heavy drinker 1/5th every 2 days, but have since quit. Rare genetic gene where I can quit anything pretty much anytime. No bragging just preface. Last weekend I had bourbon and it was over 100 proof. I remember Jack shit but tiny pieces of it like even seeing holiday pictures makes me scratch my head. Has anyone else experienced this to the point of 2 days later it’s still blank. The factors are numerous as to why. Tolerance, sleep, diet etc. I get it. But I was a HFA and never experienced this.
