Alcohol culture

Hello. Probably my question does not fit the format of this group, but I’ll ask my question anyway.) I’m 23 years old, I’m originally from India and I like to sometimes drink shots with friends, drink and hang out. Isn’t this common in Western Europe, the USA and North America? Do young people my age sometimes not drink and party? Are strong drinks,for exampl tequila, vodka, vodka coctail, whiskcy and shots not common? Does everyone see healthy lifestyle and is obsessed with healthy lifestyle? Or are most young people not like that and like to drink and party?
