Pink whitney

I was told pink whitney was the alcohol that made so many people traumatized, but my friend and I cleared a bottle within a couple hours and so far, we’re both fine. Ive gone through the hours of being drunk and now I’m sober, fine, not hungover. Is it just because I ate before and during or something? Genuinely curious if there’s any science behind it or if it just doesn’t kill me as much
