Has anyone else had a mixer perpetually ruined because of alcohol?

So a couple months ago I mixed vodka with a grape flavored drink (it was a lot of vodka) and finished it. (I had a drinking problem linked with severe depression). I got really sick and puked a couple times before blacking out. Ever since then, anything that has to do with the “grape” flavor gets me sick. Even the thought of it gets me sick. Is it just me or is this common?
