Is getting sick from certain past experiences actually real?

I remember getting really sick about 10 years ago from Tequila and throwing up 5-6x (my friends force fed me water so I threw up more)

I realized I feel sick after literally 1 tequila shot, but I don’t feel that way with vodka or whiskey….
