I’m pretty inexperienced with drinking. Would you help me figure out what to put in a delicious mocktail I had once to turn it into a cocktail for my friends?

Storytime: I am hosting a get-together this month and wanted to offer a fun cocktail to my drinking friends. While I could just do a normal drink, and I certainly might, I wanted to also offer a drink that I got a while back that I loved and wanted to bounce it off my friends.

I don’t drink very much, so I once ordered a mocktail at a fancy restaurant whose menu description read: “have our bartender make something unique!” I thought it was genuinely really good: it was lime, cream/sweetened condensed milk, pomegranate juice, and club soda. I’ve made it a few times at home just for fun and enjoyed it each time.

Now I’m wondering, to offer it to my friends who drink more than I do, what alcohol I can add half an ounce to that mocktail that would complement the flavors. I’m not super experienced with alcohol so I only have vague guesses of rum or vodka or whiskey. I’m open to any suggestions. Thanks!
