Why do malt liquors (most beer and low % drinks) give me massive stomach burn while liquor (Jameson, Hennessy etc.) doesn’t hurt my stomach at all?

This is something i’ve been dealing with for years and it’s kind of annoying. I’ve even asked my Dr and he didn’t really have an answer. I’ve tried looking online and still couldn’t really find anything. I just tried twisted teas for the first time yesterday and couldn’t even finish 1 without needing to lay down, with a massive burning sensation within my stomach. I can drink tons of Jameson to myself with my stomach feeling completely fine. Maybe i’m allergic to something? Wondering if anyone else experiences this.
