Drinking vodka

Hi

I wast just wondering how does vodka affect you?, I only get dizzy, but i dont feel any of the effects that make people drink alcohol. It is really frustrating because i want to from time to time drink with friends and have a good time, but it always ends like that. Would a change of alcohol help maybe? I don’t have much experience so any advice would be appreciated.
