For me, vodka is the “alcohol of despair”. Because… it’s cheap, heavy, and gets you quickly away from problems (of course then it creates more… but at first it helps). Anyone else uses it when they feel bad on top of any other?

Rhum and whisky are gold but if you have a good taste, a good bottle is pretty expensive… even if you are difficult taste wise, there will always be a cheap vodka with the same % as the two quoted but for less than half the price…

Bought my last good rhum for 50$ the 70 cL bottle. Good vodka? Was only 20$ for 1 liter (100 cL).

Sometimes I guess that’s why the USSR won WW2 lol
