Why is drinking in the morning considered so bad when it’s better in terms of health effects?

I’ve always wondered this. Drinking in the morning, on a day off, is still considered so much worse than getting drunk the night before you have to work. Some of alcohols worst health effects comes from its effects on sleep. If you have a few beers in the morning, it will be metabolized by bed time. If you have no obligations that day, nowhere to go, no work to do, why is it considered bad when it has less detrimental effects on sleep? Having 2 beers in the morning is seen as terrible but having 10 shots at night in a bar then spinning in bed is seen as fine.

The only reasons I could see morning drinking as bad is if you have obligations that day, or if it leads to drinking all day
