Help choosing a drink for someone who doesn’t drink very much

So most of my drinking was done when I was between 16-22 which was mostly parties and just random beer.

Haven’t been out to a bar in years but I always just ordered beer.

What are some good “beginner” mixed drinks I could order? Not a big fan of most clear liquors but willing to try if the taste is masked
