Beer over liquor

Does anyone else prefer beer over hard liquor? Since I’ve been legal I’ve found myself buying more beer than I have liquor I find beer to be a very enjoyable and pleasant drink that I can drink without feeling like I’m gonna get super wasted and wake up with a pounding headache the next day. I was wondering if anyone else is that way too.
