Does poor air quality affect alcohol tolerance

Okay… does this Canadian fires and poor air quality affect your alcohol tolerance?? On my way to the bar I felt odd and anxious with chest pain that I figured was due to my underlying anxiety… now after four beers I feel way more drunk then usual and spilled all my shit to my coworkers fml
