When I’m drunk I don’t act like myself

I understand alcohol lower inhibition so I’m worried, because when I’m drunk I come on too people (that I don’t like!) alcohol free for almost 161 days. But just wanted to educate myself, when I’m drunk I come on to anyone who is talking to me and giving me any type of interest that they like me (regardless if I like them or not) my mind at the time thinks I like them “beer googles” is what I guess people would refer this too? Like I would come on a lot to my girl friend (which in real life I don’t like and see as a sister, I have nothing against lesbian or bisexual, even if I wanted to explore that route I wouldn’t with one of my friend though) and with a guy I came on too same day he was in every way physically the opposite of what I like. My point is does lower inhibition change ur preferences or is it beer googles or need for attention or validation? what is it? Has this ever happened to you? I stopped drinking because obviously I don’t like how I get. I’m very inexperience with alcohol/drinking and alcoholism runs in my family so I’m just trying to learn tho I plan to stay off the booze just trying to understand the psychology point.
