It’s not necessary to use cork on cheap sparkling wine. It’s something that’s supposed to make it “luxurious”, but it’s not more expensive than beer if you calculate the percentage.

They should sell cheap sparkling wine in cans 250/330 ml. I really hate that glass bottle with cork lid. This is not luxury, it’s cheap ethanol with happens to taste good.
