Mixed drink recommendations for a late bloomer?

Just started drinking at the ripe age of 30. Obviously missing drinking in my 20s I haven’t had a chance to figure out what I like really and there are an overwhelming amount of options lol. Besides the staples like jack and coke and rum and sprite, what is something you would suggest that I prob haven’t thought about, or just what is your favorite drink?
