When does alcohol get dangerous ?

Me and a buddy talked about one night where I was completely drunk (black out drunk). He told me that I was very confused, I couldn’t answer questions correctly (I gave an answer, just not the right one). He called an uber for me eventually and I asked him if it wasn’t dangerous to send me home being this drunk. He told me that I was able to walk normal and straight without tumbeling and it’s been a while since I had my last drink (1 hour ago), so I wasn’t in any real danger.

I googled: “signs of alcohol posioning”, and one of them was confusion. But on the other hand people who are experiencing alcohol posioning are barely conscious (according to google) let alone able to walk which I was.

So what would you guys say was I in real danger of alcohol posioning ?
