Hi everyone. I come in peace. Please read. I am a doctoral candidate (more details in the consent form linked below) in the process of recruiting individuals (at least 60) to my study, to help me understand how individuals who drink alcohol excessively (4 or more drinks in one sitting for females, and 5 or more for males), describe the things that prohibit them from sustaining behavioral change when they attempt to reduce or stop drinking. It is important to note that these individuals are not physically dependent on alcohol to function, so they can go for a period of not drinking at all, yet when an opportunity presents itself to drink, they binge drink.
