Cutoff in a bar, completely embarrassed/indignant.

Brand new in Albany New York, had two light beers earlier in the afternoon with lunch (it was Easter). Went to a bar for dinner because I’m waiting on my movers and ordered two more lager-type beers at the bar and some food to go. Bartenders seemed grumpy the whole time and were constantly whispering to each other. Tried to order another beer and close out again and the guy said “nah bro, you’re good, but I’ll get you a water.” I looked at him initially like I thought he was joking, but when I could tell he wasn’t I just turned around and left. I don’t think I was that drunk, like at all, considering the two beers I had earlier in the day were seven hours previous and I had the two beers at the bar over the course of like an hour.

I feel super embarrassed by this. I have a slightly socially awkward personality so maybe that was it? The people next to me were screaming at the bartenders for their drinks and pounding on the table and shit (literally) and I was just sitting there watching the Marlins and Yankees game. Didn’t say a single word to the bartenders of the other patrons other than ordering the first two beers and the fish tacos, which might I add I did very politely and tipped 18%.

Was I really acting that obnoxiously/creepy/drunk or were they just being assholes? Is this worth leaving a shitty yelp review?

I don’t know why I care about this so much but I just feel super offended. I’ve been to bars in like 15 different countries and have never had this happen to me.
