Can you drink with stitches?

I have 7 stitches in my knee, but it’s at the point of feeling fine to walk on and it’s been a week since. I really want to go out this weekend with my friend and have a few drinks, would this be safe? I’ve seen mixed things online, and I was considering a limit of 3 drinks at most. The stitches weren’t from a surgery, and I’m not on any medication.
