I built a tool that scans bottles and explains the flavor profile — would drink nerds actually use this?

I’ve noticed something whenever I’m at a bar.

Most of us order the same drinks over and over.

Not because we love them but because menus are confusing and we don’t actually know what half the bottles are.

So I started building something small for fun.

You scan a bottle and it shows:

• flavor profile

• similar drinks

• what you might like next

Basically a “Shazam for drinks”.

Before I go deeper building this, I wanted to ask people here:

Would something like this actually be useful for you when you’re out drinking?

Or do people here already know their drinks well enough that it wouldn’t matter?
