Since 2018, Punch has been on a mission to elevate and amplify rising talent through our Best New Bartenders (formerly known as Bartenders in Residence) program. Over the years, we’ve grown a network of nearly 100 alumni who have gone on to open their own bars, advocate for a more inclusive industry and move drink culture forward, all while making some of our favorite cocktails. Now, we’re on the lookout for the Best New Bartenders of 2026.
We’re partnering with Astral Tequila to spotlight bartenders who are bringing an element of elevated hospitality to their work. We’re looking not just for excellent cocktails, but also for individuals who make an impact on their peers, their community and the industry.
Best New Bartenders are featured on Punch through editorial coverage, social media, live events and more. Each bartender will get to share a signature cocktail with our readers and will join a growing network of alumni who are defining the future of bartending, behind the bar and beyond it.
