What helped you move from guessing to choosing wine with intention?
For a long time picking wine was just vibing in the aisle. I’d go off the label, the price, whatever region sounded familiar and sometimes it worked out but I never actually knew why. And when I did find something I like, I’d forget everything about it a week later. What started to change things was just noticing patterns. Which regions kept showing up in my favorites, which grapes I gravitated toward, which styles consistently clicked. It meant I could actually use past experiences instead of starting over every time. Made the whole thing feel way less overwhelming and a lot more personal, curious what helped other people stop guessing and start actually trusting their own taste?
