Can’t find any info on this cheap bottle of rum, help?

So yeah, just bought this bottle from a grocery store in Funchal, Madeira. There’s no info on the back of the bottle, didn’t think to check at the store. The bottle did have one of those anti-theft beeper thingies on it, even though it was only 19,99€ for a litre. Safe to drink? I didnt buy a bottle of methanol, right? The birds wouldnt lie to me, would they?
