pain while drinking?

hello everyone!

i have a pretty severe case of POTS, and sometimes experience chest and shoulder pain while drinking. the pain is significant and prevents me from drinking further, but it doesn’t happen every time. it feels like pressure in my chest, and aching in my shoulder joint. it’s miserable to deal with and i’d like to be able to drink without pain. does anyone else have this issue? how do you help mitigate it?
