How do people feel about Asian flavors in alcohol?

I see Asian flavors everywhere in food, but not nearly as much in alcohol.

Things like lychee, yuzu, jasmine, roasted tea, etc.

Sometimes they feel really clean and interesting, other times they feel gimmicky.

Do these flavors actually appeal to people, or do they just sound better than they taste?
