Is this just how it tastes or is spoiled (Burbon)

So about a year ago I bought some Dragon’s Milk Burbon and Strawberry Daiquiris. I liked the Daiquiris but the Burbon tasted like nail polish. Recently I got some more Seagrams and the Daiquiri tasted like the Burbon.

Did I get a bad batch or is Burbon just like that for some people?
