(Marked nsfw for scars) not sure if I’m allergic or just get flushed rashes

The rash doesn’t hurt and never has, it just feels hot and my head pounds for hours after I drink. My mums side has lots of Asian in it so I’m thinking it could be that I just don’t hold alcohol well due to that, but it is possible that it’s a mild allergic reaction?
