why does el jimador smell so bad?

I poured less or maybe exactly a shot and I mixed it with some random mango juice laying around the house cause it smelled pretty awful so id assumed the mango would cover it but it taste so bad. I have to hold my nose before anyone ask yes I’m a lightweight and I’m starting to cough and feel dizzy. Is that normal when you’re a lightweight?
