I got sick, now I’m allergic to alcohol?

Just wondering if anyone has had this happen or has any insight.

I got sick on Sunday night with a full body release every ten minutes for like 5 hours. I had a few drinks before. Ive been sick since, coughing and chest pain. My daughter had the same thing but my husband and son are fine.

Over the next couple days I’d have a sip of alcohol and suddenly my face would get puffy and I’d have difficulty breathing. Cold air seemed to help. I’ve never had issues like this before. No asthma. No health conditions that I know of. I do/did drink pretty frequently. Having a few drinks every couple days. I’ve had this reaction with whiskey and beer and am too scared to try anything again
