Intense pain when drinking certain beverages

I’m well-experienced with alcoholic beverages. I tolerate shots of 80+ proof liquor very well without pain. But, when I drink something like a Mike’s Harder Lemonade quickly, even after 4 Tums, I get stomach pain reaching the upper end of the pain scale. I have to lie down until the pain subsides after 15–20 minutes. I can tell I will get this pain by an apple taste on the breath which gets more prominent during the pain, then disappears afterwards when the pain disappears.

Is this normal? I know acetaldehyde, a byproduct of ethanol metabolism, can smell of apples on the breath. Is it just the sugar in it? The acidity? It’s only cans of beverages that cause it, it seems (Mike’s lemonade, Smirnoff ice). I’d like to know if there’s anything I can do to prevent the pain.
