Why do my shoulders tense up and hurt whenever I drink?

i’m guessing it has something to do with the fact that i’m on prescription meds but for some reason whenever i drink (even if it’s just something really light like 1 beer) or get a buzz my shoulders become sore. this seems to be the only side effect i get from mixing alcohol with my meds and it’s only my shoulders that become sore, nowhere else. is this a thing for anyone else?
