Bar prices are insane

I only recently started going but i honestly wont anymore. Ive spent enough money at the bar mainly going just for the socialization but honestly if i can buy a 6 pack of hard 7% beer for $9, but pay $8 (not even including tip) for one 5% 355ML beer at the bar? Soo not worth it. What is even the point?? I get like the main reason of even wanting to go is to have a place to hangout and meet people, but at this point i havent really been meeting anyone, no one really comes up to me, so like its just not worth it, its such a rip off.

I cant even complain though because the last few times ive had my drinks paid for by men or bartenders paying my tab/ ordering me food. But yeah im definitely going broke and now understanding why lol.
