Never drank alcohol before. Want to try wine for the first time, need beginner-friendly suggestions

Hi everyone,

I’ve never had alcohol in my life, but I’m curious to try wine and want to start slow. I’m looking for beginner-friendly wines that are easy to sip and not too strong or bitter.

I’d prefer something:

• Light and smooth

• Not very dry or harsh

• Slightly sweet or fruity is okay

I’m not looking to get drunk, just want to understand the taste and experience.

Any suggestions on wine types/styles (red/white/rosé/sparkling) or tips for a first-time wine drinker would really help. Also open to food pairing advice.
