Gin liqueur light not working properly

I bought the Snowglobe Gin liqueur and on the package it says that it has a light and a button that can toggle it on and off. Well my globe glows only when I actively press the button. If anyone else has bought it did you experience a similar issue? Any clue on how to fix it?
