Occasional Red Flush

Every now and then, when I drink, my face and neck get very red and slightly warm. It only happens 2-3 times a year. I don’t think it has to do with what I drink, as I tend to stick to the same few things. It doesn’t seem like the amount I drink causes it either as sometimes it happens after 2 drinks and other times after 6.

Does anyone have any idea as to what might be causing this, as I don’t think it is an ALDH2 deficiency, as it happens so rarely?
